200 engine into zr?

Hi does anybody know if the bottom end of a rover 214 8valve engine could be used to fit into a mg zr 1.4? I know the 16 valve head for my own will screw on I wasn't sure if the pistons are the same? Has anyone done this before and advice would be grateful Cheers Mark
