2000 rover 45 1.4 sump

just bought a rover 45 as a runabout and was told it has a oil leak from the sump, had a good look underneath and the sump has a few point where its oozing oil, been on ebay for sump but unsure as the one thats on is steel but the rest are alloy also do i need to buy a sump gasket aswell? and do they fit all rovers as they seem to have "fits 1.1 1.4 1.6 25 45" in there ads?
