45 Colour ???

I was at a MG Rover breakers today and for sale was a 45 Conny 2.0td , I thought at first it was Silver , however in the rain it looked like it a had a "flip" of light brown/gold in the paint ???



Am I going nuts or is this a proper MG Rover colour ??
