Changed the CVT Oil and Filter today on my 45

Been planning to do this for ages, but kept putting it off, mnainly due to the cost of the special CVT oil and the filter, after much searching I bought from a Endon Services Limited

All came to £94 delivered

Filter £35

Oil 5 x 1ltr £35

delivery £8

plut vat

Cheapest I could find.

Was a fairly simple job, here are a few pics

Drained the old oil

Removed the oil pan

Few metallic fragment on the magnet

Removed filter, just pulled off

The "New Stuff"

Filter top/Bottom

New Filter fitted

Cleaned Oil Pan, wasn't too dirty

Refitted oil pan and the sump plug!!

Refilled with oil, note how pink the oil is, not red like ATF!

The oil oil appeared dirty, but you could see through it, the car has covered nearly 60K miles now, not sure what the recomendation service interval is.

It might be just me, but I'm pretty sure it is a little quieter, it was running well anyway, but sometime stalled when cold after driving to the gate, and stopping.

Time will tell if I have done the right thing.......report back soon"
