Changing cambelts - Thwarted!
Well, I had all the bits, the tools, etc.
Drove the car on to ramps to raise the front, jacked up the rear slightly and then began loosening the rear wheel nuts.
Guess what!? The locking wheel nut socket decided to collapse.
Well, that's me with a day in front of the telly instead of doing the job I'd planned for months.
New socket ordered from Brown and Gammons. Solid type as opposed to the original ones which are known to collapse (I know).
