load rasping sound under load

hi me again, my janspeed exhaust is fine,, i have been informed that the rasping sound is coming from the inlet side!!!! it only rasps under load --fine sat on the drive,i have a k n and its not that as i took it off and the rasping sound is still there, please help as its driving me mad,, thoughts please, cheers steve
