R54 - Bleed pipe assembly from rad to expansion tank
Hey guys, my bleed pipe managed to work itself loose from its clips and has been rubbing on the aux belt and unfortunately I didn't notice until it was too late. My pipe now has a nice little hole in it and now empties all the coolant out when the engine is on.
I've patched the hole with some hose tape and some gaffa temporarily and this has stemmed the leak but I can't really leave it like this long term so I need a replacement.
Rimmers are out of stock and I can't seem to source the part from anywhere - the breakers are all coming up empty (excuse the pun). Does anyone have a Diesel Rover 45 they're breaking who could sell me the part? I don't want to do any long distance journeys with a patch job so it's fairly urgent that I get the pipe replaced asap!
FYI it's number 8 on the image here:
Also - probably related to the fact my car spewed coolant all over it - my aux belt is now clicking when the engine is running. The belt was swapped about 30k ago and at a glance looks healthy so I'm not sure if I need to do anything about the clicking or if it'll subside.
Any and all advice appreciated as always :)
Thanks!
Sarah
