ITG induction kit for MG6 - group buy
A member on the MG6 register has been in talks with ITG for a induction kit for the MG6. I know most MG6 owners on here are on the register but there may be a few not on there here. Anyway more info on the kit...
"The ITG have now produced a production version of the ITG MG6 Kit. I have been in conversations with them during the development and have had one fitted today! :cheer:
Having driven down to their site and met their technical engineer, it is clear they know their stuff and their products are built to a high standard of quality (see pictures!) and I learned a lot about airflow pressures! Incidentally, they supply filters to the MG KX Momentum Team too! B)
Below are pictures of the MG6 Kit. We also carried out some temperature testing measured directly from the filter at idle and various speeds ranging all the way up to 70 mph. The temperature was held at a stable 18oC when running from 20 mph and sat at approximately 25oC at standstill idling. The technical manager advised that these temperatures were excellent in terms of operating performance. Also from a "physical-feel" perspective, the heat shield was doing its job in that the area inside the heat shield was cool to the touch.
In terms of obtaining one of the kits, the group-buy still stands: 40% off the standard price of £166.65+VAT (carriage charge separate)(10 or more orders). Please let me know of any interest in this and I will co-ordinate with ITG.
