Painted calipers.

On an 'F'. Is it a good thing or frowned upon? The reason I ask is that I recently purchased a light cover off Andythetyreman (a true gent) and had to get a tin of paint mixed up to spray it. There's loads left and so I thought maybe the calipers would look good sprayed too. Anyone done it? Any tricks and tips would be most welcome.
