Radio reception.

My tourer has always had bad radio reception. I checked the aerial amplifier the other day and it is working as soon as the power is disconnected signal goes completely. So it is just crap, the only station I get half decent reception on is Radio 2 which I don't mind but would be nice to have some choice occasionally. Any ideas for improving it preferably without having an external aeirial that anyone has already done? Not looking to change the stereo really as swapping out the head unit can cause problems with T4 not communicating properly without sat nav drive and head unit. Terry told me that I have to plug my sat nav drive in when I have a T4 session.
