Rear brake pads

Something that I will have to do before the MOT is replace the rear brake pads. Having never done this before I have been looking at the various how to's etc. I will need the tool for winding the piston back.

Is this a generic tool?

Where is the best place to get normal brake pads from and what sort of price should I be paying?
