Coolant leak from where?
Hi, I have a coolant leak on the 45 which is slightly intermittant, it usually empties the expansion tank over night, but I don't think it leaks when the engine is running, but I could be wrong, I have tracked the drip (about every four seconds} down to the overhang at the back of the engine near the top left hand side as you would look at it from the back, I can't get a clear sight of its starting point but I have circled the area in the picture below, anyone have a good guess as to its exact origin?
The 45 also sounds slightly erratic on starting, with slight pauses or sort of bumps! Was concerned that it was misfiring as I read an internal leak from the inlet manifold gasket causes this? But it runs fine once its going though. I had put it down to a loose positive connection as the battery terminal is a little too small for the connector, could I build it up with something metal? Cheers.
