Rover rust spot?

Although not noted for rust Ive become a bit sensitive on the subject following a visit to the 75 site and reading accounts of rusty running gear etc. So I removed the two rubber filler strips on the roof of the 600 and there were two small seats of rust, well established under the nearside one. Both are where there was a sealant/mastic (factory applied )so I assume a bit a Friday job by the guy on that side of the car because he missed a bit at the rear of the petrol filler tube! Worth a check and very easy to get to. Chris S. PS off subject but I have 5x 7spoke15" rover alloys in average to good condition with road legal tyres I want shot of - free, collection only.
