Gary from Leighton Buzzard

Hello All

About 18 months ago a placed a very low bid on an MG TF 160 on Ebay. I didn't win the auction but the winner didn't collect so I got my TF for a bargain price. She was a little tatty and had a very noisy engine but I had a fantastic summer with her and actually did thousands of trouble free miles (excluding jumping out of reverse).

Unfortunately on a wet New Years eve I lost the rear end and wrecked it against the barrier.

Subsequently I purchased a MG TF 135 with a blown head gasket and I'm part way through swapping the engines. Both engines have been removed and I have some (low mileage) VVC units to put onto my old noisy engine which will hopefully make her run quietly.

I'm just a little concerned that I have bitten off more than I can chew. These are not the easiest cars or engines to work on!

Regards

Gary
