roof is stuck

So finally got the tax disc this morning and a quick clean and polish before we leave---problem!



Unlatched the hood and it will only go half way back. Its got the anti lock straps on it and i have also manually pulled the bar up as well. It just won't go all the way back, I can't force it too much cos its a glass rear screen. It feels as though something is jammed but the mechanisms are clear and well lubed.

I'm at a loss so dos anyone have suggestions?



Oh I had the engine cover off last week to lube the clutch arm, but it seemed fine then.
