999,999

due to my connie dying last week and the replacement engine being faulty I had to get a replacement car quickly.I picked up a 2005 contempory diesel auto. I have now done a couple of hundred miles and love it.. The problem is that the mileage shows 999,999 and hasn` moved.

Does anyone have any idea whats wrong and how to correct it please..
