Advice needed... clutch gone

Evening,



So I was just giving the coupe a trip around the block to dust off the cobwebs before she comes out for the summer and my my clutch went while changing between 1st and 2nd.



Couldnt get the car into gear so pulled over and popped the hazards on. Finally managed to get the car into gear with the engine stopped as the clutch does nothing and drove the 100m home at 30mph in 1st :S Oh how I must have looked like a loon.



So heres my gripe..



Clutch cable seems ok and this was my initial thought. Removed it anyhow and apart from a new shiny 2 inches of thread at the adjuster (maybe it auto adjusted when the clutch went?).



I did read the clutch release arm can sieze on the r65 and im wondering if mine is as it doesnt seem to have any movement in the direction clutch cable would pull.



2 main questions at this point

>> how much travel should the relase arm have?

>> how much force to move it, will my little pansy size arms move it?!
