6 cd player fixed now broke again - advice?

Hi all,



i recently bought a 1.8 2005 45 auto and have been trying to remedy various problems as per here:-

the new cassette came, I popped it into the cd changer, and it worked yesterday! wonderful! Today, same error as before - NO CRC.



I bought a whole new system as was not much more expensive than the cassette alone so just connected that up - same issue



the cd changers are getting power as moving etc. I wondered if there is a fuse anywhere obvious that I might try changing? otherwise I am at a loss!
