New car question
Hi All,
I've bought myself a 05 CDti MG ZT+ which is in average condition but I got it cheap. It's done 145,000 miles but drives very well, pulls well, clutch works fine.
This is the first ZT I've had, so I have a couple of questions if that's ok.
The fan seems to come on quite a lot, and almost straight away, I think it's connected to having the climate control on (as I don't THINK it happens well CC is turned off). Could this just indicate a gas top up? The air comes out pretty cold, but just seems strange.
Also, how would you describe the noise of the engine in comparison to other diesels? Mine seems a little on the noisy side when you've got the drivers window down (lovely and quiet inside)
Lastly, does anyone have a service guide at all, or just some friendly tips for preventative maintenance? I'm going to do an oil change (says it's due in 1500 miles) and filter change, but is there anything specific to these cars that I should be doing?
Thanks,
Ollie
