ABS warning advice
On My 2004 Rover 45 TD
About 6 months ago the ABS warning light started to come on after a number of times on the brakes. In addition the ABS seems to operate sometimes at low speeds even when light braking but does not work at higher speeds (ie if you hit the brakes hard it locks up)
In preparation for next Week MOT last week I replaced both of my CV joints due to split gaiters. These already have new ABS rings and I also cleaned up both sensor surfaces and replaced a cracked abs Holder.
On the rears I cleaned both sensors and used the dremel wire brush to clean out the ABS rings of any rust and debris.
I am still getting the ABS warning light appear after driving a few moments!
Any suggestions or should I be taking it to a garage and having a code reader?
