Bonnet Stuck

Hi folks hope one and all well.

Just bought today 53 MG ZTT CDTI, bonnet opened this morn when buying and shut fine. MAF goosed so just about to disconnect and satisfy myself that's prob, pulled bonnet catch from inside car and little or no resistance, can pull inside catch to full extension with no real pull on the cable.

Have PM'd Ian the administrator but his message inbox is full, as know can't post thread on how to get bonnet unstuck for security reasons.

Please would someone be so kind as to PM me any advice and how to get bonnet open. Lookin at Marks on bonnet this not first time it's got stuck.
