Bought a 45 today..impressions of my Impression

so i went and bought a 45 today, a diesel Impression...leather seats, aircon, electric front windows and mirrors,12 spoke alloys ...not sure if the aircon works though.



Having owned a ZR until writing it off a few weeks ago( and a Rover 200 before that), it's impossible not to compare them. The first thing to hit me, was that the 45 has suspension! :)

It seems to drive well, seems smooth through the gears, although the pickup isn't quite in the same place around town as the ZR i don't think, or maybe i'm just not used to it yet....only driven it the 40 or so miles home from where i bought it.

It does seem to pickup better in fifth on the motorway when you floor it than the ZR did though, which seems a little weird...am i right in thinking it's the same engine as the ZR?...maybe mapped differently?...theres a staggering amount of room when you lift the bonnet compared to the ZR, doesn't look like you need the hands of a miniature dwarf monkey to work on this one!
