Dash clock

Hi,

My dash clock (mk1 180) is not behaving, with parts of the digital LCD display randomly working/not working. From reading other posts it seems to be yet another common failure in the car.

Looking on good old eBay, there appears to be several types of clocks. Would I be correct in assuming the 4-pin version is what is needed as a replacement?
