indicator/parking sensor fault (mk2 saloon)
hi all
had the boot lining out today to inspect a problem with a suspected bad earth on the passenger side rear light cluster. when indicating left both the indicator and the rear lights (when illuminated) flash alternately, and when braking the indicators flash rapidly and all the lights on the cluster flash in a rotating pattern including the reverse
we pulled the boot lining out and had a look, and on the drivers side we found a little black box attached to the body with a sticky pad. it had nothing connected to it but there were a lot of un connected socket things on the wiring loom for the drivers light cluster, that would take a spade connector.
we couldnt fix the flashing light problem so put everything back, stuck the box back where it was but since doing that, the parking sensors no longer work?
nothing has been left disconnected as far as i know, and everything put back as it was, any ideas why the sensors have stopped working ?
thanks
