MG ZT Rattle

Hi.



I bought a 2001 MG ZT 190 2.5 V6 this week from a car dealer.



Upon starting the engine the seller said there was a slight rattle due to the belts needing to be changed.

When taking my car to my local garage for a cambelt replacement quote they said they didn't tthink the top-end rattle was related to the belts and to take it back from where I bought it. The rattle seems to come from the opposite side to where the belts are.



The car salesman still thinks replacing the belts will resolvd the issue.



Any ideas?
