Still need help!

I am still trying to fathom why my engine is running badly after re-installation!

I have changed the cambelt but it all lines up so figure that is OK.

The symptoms - backfire on deceleration and rough idle plus heavy fuel draw would suggest an air leak perhaps.



I have replaced the inlet manifold gasket as there was a water leak (Gearbox end), which is resolved but no improvement in the engine running.



Issue is finding the airleak. Anyone know any good diy technique?
