Mk2 Horn

Hi Guys,



Been reading up on the issues with the mk2 horns caused by a broken relay in the scu(or bcu - cant remember which one!)



Basically, if that is the issue, im not going to bother taking my car apart to desolder the one in there and solder on a new one because, quite frankly, it seems a bit of a nightmare and Id probably end up damaging it and causing myself more headaches.



My symptoms are:

1. Horn not working

2. No click when I press the horn

3. If I try to lock with door open - horn doesn't sound.



Now do these symptoms sound like its the relay at fault or just a faulty horn?



I have a new horn but if this isn't the issue, im not going to mess about taking off the bumper, I will just wire in a new one off a relay.



Any help would be appreciated.
