Cat for an MG ZT

Dear All



I had a 'check engine' dashboard warning end of last week, so car went to my local garage. The computer diagnostic has come back with - "P0420 cat malfunction."



Garage managed to clear the error code, but I imagine it may well come back.

In the experience of other owners, is this likely to be the cat or the sensor?

As emissions are a little over what is expected, I guess it is the cat?



My local garage had heard somewhere that the cats on sale from XPart are not as good as original MGR parts. Can anyone comment and/or suggest best source of replacement cats?
