mgf s/s under pipes.. pondering the benefits to us

im considering the benefits of s/s undercar coolant pipes and engine rail pipes.

our new weekend car, mgf 2001 70k.

did the coolant amongst other things which was dirty and no record of it being changed for many years.

going to review the coolant condition in 3-6 months then change rad & pipes if its crappy again.

i can see the benefits of an lr ally core rad as it will hopefully improve cooling.

but where is the benefits of s/s pipes... i know they are not expensive, perhaps £70 for the underfloor and 90 for the rail.

but on a car that has survived 70k and 13 years on OEM steel why would i use stainless? for all i know the degredation on the steel pipes internally could be down to a poor coolant maintenance schedule

sadly i dont know if the car will live on as a classic or be beyond economic repair within 5 years..

I THINK.... i know the answer as to why fit stainless...

is it because stainless is not much more expensive so why fit anything else? or are the original steel type impossible to get hold of now?
