Quick MAF sensor question
Hi all
I just bought a 2004 facelift ZR td 115 last week, it was sold with a engine problem, the seller thought it was the egr sticking open and provided a new egr valve with the car. I have fitted that but nothing has changed.
It has the typical MAF sensor symptoms, sluggish and doesn't rev very well.
Now I have plugged in a OBD reader to access the live data, with the MAF sensor plugged in the MAF reading is 655, with it unplugged it is 0. This doesn't change as the engine is revved.
It all seems to point to a sensor fault, but a new sensor was fitted just before I bought the car, got a receipt for it from 23rd may this year. Allbeit the sensor was a cheaper one (£46.07)
I have checked the voltage on the white wire, I have read that this should be 1v with the engine off, I have 0v.
What do you guys think?
Cheers
Mark
