Twin headlamps - which way round?

Just flicking through the handbook, and it suggests dipped beam are the two inner units with full beam the outer. I had a look last night, and mine are the other way round (dipped outer units with full beam the in-board ones).



What are other peoples like? I assume it matters since the light pattern on the road will be dictated by the pattern within the lens glass itself.
