Bit of info needed

Hi all,

I need some advice, I have had a lost key issue on a mgzt 1.8 t mk1.

I bourght a rover 75 1.8 non turbo, managed to change all the locks on the car and also managed to do the ignition too, changed the ecu too but the car will not boost up right, car starts and runs fine with no worries but is totally flat. How can I get round this problem. Could I install a manual boost control unit removing the pierburge unit to get round this.

It's really getting me stressed out and I do this sort of mod all day on other cars but the mg my own pride and joy is not going to be getting scrapped for the sake of a ecu is it.
