East Kirkby Rover rally last Sunday
For my second year I attended this local rally and despite the weather being iffy it was a wonderful day. This year I was in "Elsie" the British Racing Green MGF VVC that was acquired in April. Sadly she was not wearing her new nose as funds and time have not allowed me to get it sorted.
Here are some of the cars present:-
A Tickford convertable P4 Rover 75 "Cyclops" the rally was organised and hosted by the Mid Lincs P4 Rover club.
Older and also more modern Rovers were present. The Primrose Yellow is an outstanding colour for the modern Rover 75 IMHO.
The MG Car Club had a stand and area:-
"Elsie" was right on the end on a line of MG's in the MGCC area..
Which was right next to the Lancaster parking bay:-
Which was making taxi runs during the day.
Hope you like the shots.
