Help please....starting issue!

Hi

Hope someone help, our 1999 rover 620 keeps deciding not to start, symptoms as follows:-

if u start from cold drive it about 1/4mile then turn it off before fully earm OR when it is fully warm turn it off it will not start again . once it has been left for a while then it will start again. it runs fine when going anyone any ideas what this could be ?
