Hi from Lisbon
Greetings, name is Ferny, age 43, '01 MGF owner happy to participate on this.
I'm a professional electro-mechanic technician, that is I work on electric and mechanic problems on all sort of machines, that including the occasional car for family and friends.
My latest job was as an auto electrician, and now doing an automotive training course to get into the car repair trade as a certified pro. I'm very keen on older sports cars and motorcycles, I'm doing a race conversion on a bike now and had similar projects in the past
I'm also seriously thinking about migrating to the U.K. since this country holds no future for me.
I own an MGF which is giving me a bit of a headache, so I poked around and found this forum. Despite my previous experience with cars I found a few unusual (to me) issues with Rover's K-16.
So I decided to share my findings and see if someone has come across the same stuff and possibly help others and myself.
Waiting for my 1st post to get cleared and come up on the mgf section, it's a bit too long for a 1st one maybe, I tend to rant a little, sorry.
Cheers
