Replacement CAT

On the MG ZTT diesel 1.9CDTi I've been quoted by a tyre and exhaust place for a replacement CAT £330 to fit a new unit or £260 to weld fix what's there.



I searched cats later and found a unit for around £70, so the obvious question has to be are they a pain to fit?
