Starting problem now stuck in car park

Hi guys, I'm new I know. Think that will be obvious by my run of events but I need some help.



Drove the MGF to work yesterday, used the remote to lock, came back but it wouldn't open the car. Thought the battery had gone flat in the remote so I replaced it after a stomp to Tescos (first mistake). I didn't know then until I still couldn't get immobiliser off about re-syncing the key. I do now. So I thought I'd go for the back up door lock EKA I found out about from searches. No record of number! But most importantly I hadn't checked the lock before and it's jammed. So searched here and elsewhere about lubing the lock and working it. No luck at all!



So I found my way into the car and opened the door manually. Won't say how due to security rules. So now I have access in. No alarm went off. Put key in ignition and turned it. No lights on dash, no alarm light, no horn, no nothing. It was still dark through the forest at 0530 and had my lights on. I think I may well have not turned the lights into the fully off position.



So... Situation is I'm stuck in a car park with a car that won't do anything.

I'm pretty sure the battery is more than dead. I haven't had chance to re-synch the key with the car because nothing is working at all.



Next move? I can call out the RAC I guess but I'm kinda hoping that a jump start might get me on my way. Worried though the car park is in a hospital and if I can't stop the alarm with following the usual sync advice on here for the fob it's not going to go down well.



Any thoughts/advice on my current saga caused primarily by my ignorance would be most appreciated.
