VP30 Timing

I have been rebuilding a Rover 25 DERV for a while now (on and off), and I have got to the stage where I have put the whole car back together, and it turns over but does not start.

I suspect that it is the Fuel Injection pump timing- is there a way to check the timing on the pump/find TDC on it?
