Are these wires for the auto changer?

While doing the blower resistor I pulled the carpet back and found a number of quite thick wires. Are these for the auto changer? I might just add the auto changer was removed by a previous owner and is not present. There are also a load of wires in the boot, all not connected to anything. I guess someone has had a load of ICE but left the wires.
