Idle Engine warning light normal?

Hey guys just a quick one, currently trying to grab an MG TF. A dealer told me the engine warning light comes on if the cards idles for 5 or so minutes and said thats normal on all MG TF's. I've tried researching that and can't find evidence and i don't want to just take his word for it.



Can anyone claim thats true or false? Thanks!
