To spoil 'er or not to spoil 'er
I noticed on a recent set of MGTF/F pics of a Staffs club meet that at least a third of the cars had boot spoilers. I like the added appeal it gives the MGTF's rear end but what do others think about boot spoilers? Is there a downside?
I'm glad to note that few contributors here are purist 'concours' types insisting on keeping the breed pure; it just isn't practical what with alloys, exhausts, improved breaks, roll over hoops, HGs, low-level coolant sensors, s/s coolant pipes and even non-original tyres or simple chromed bolts! But what about a boot spoiler - a mod too far?
My newly acquired TF has gone well beyond the 'original spec' and I know it's my car and I can do what I like, but I would be interested to learn others' experiences, good or bad, plus where to source one at a good price <£300?
