which way to turn the plugs?

Sorry for such a noob question.



I've changed the plugs in my mini before but never done it myself on the TF





Standing on the passenger side, it's an anti clockwise rotation to loosen?



Any tips?



I have a fear of shearing things if I'm honest which is the primary reason I don't do the proper technical stuff on my car. A fear I want to beat!
