ZT 190 or 1.8T?

Hi All,



Have a 600 at the moment, was only meant to be a stop gap car but has been one of the best cars I have ever owned...seriously!



Anyway, moving on, it was always my intention to get a zt 190 and now I'm looking I've been reading a little about the 1.8turbo.

I'd pretty much dismissed it before as the head gasket is bad enough without the turbo (wife has a 1.8 freelander!) From what I've been reading some people have been saying the turbo is a better option than the 190 for tuning etc. Although I have only been able to find old info on the subject from 2004-2005.



I suppose what I'm asking is how much tuning or what power will I be able to reliably get with a 1.8t with updated head gasket from a boost controller, remap etc.



Anyone had any personal experience?
