Dammit
So, my ZR160 which had a new head gasket in Feb, has developed a severe case of foam in the oil (under the filler cap and on the dip stick) and coolant consumption combined with a hydraulic lock on friday morning. I don't think it's about to die unless I can find someone willing to sell me a stick of dynamite but it appears I'm about to do another flamin' head gasket. Currently searching Adelaide for a K-series competent mechanic - they only imported 48 ZR160s to Oz before MG-Rover went belly up but we have a lot of MGFs and a lot of MGFs and ZRs on the racing circuit, there HAS to be someone local who can repair these motors without ******* it up.
For what it's worth, I've since found out that the clowns that did the repair in Feb are indeed clowns and the way they stuffed me about it pretty standard for them. And to think they were the MG-Rover dealers (for the six months the dealership existed here) and are currently the Ferrari dealers ... which is one reason non-official Ferrari mechanics are doing so well in this state.

(yes, very ****ed off)
