Knocking noise

Drove up to the end of the road the other day and when slowing down for a corner noticed an intermittent knocking noise which sounded like something hitting the bodywork probably from the rear of the car.



Took it out for a slightly longer run and when travelling at normal speeds everything is fine, no noise but when slowing down say to about 10mph get a knocking/banging noise.



It's not a regular noise just random and not just when applying the brakes.



Sounds like the exhaust hitting the bodywork but got it up on axle stands to have a look but I don't think it's that as everything seems tight and I can't replicate it by moving the exhaust around. It only does it whilst moving.



Any ideas?
