Shall I skim this head?

Hi all, I am in the process of replacing the head gasket and I am unsure whether to skim the head or leave well alone. I have attached some close ups of the head. It is not warped.



I am not sure if it has been previously skimmed but I believe it is advisable to leave it alone if possible to maintain the "hardness" of the head face?
