200Vi, Mems2j to 3. Help building complete parts list
I started off a couple of days ago contemplating buying a Superchips Icon race for the Vi for a little more power. After starting an in depth thread on Rovertech and getting great help and advice from a couple of members on there (also members here) i have decided to go with Mems3 so that i can get a bit more out of the 143vvc engine.
As this site has a lot more members that have dealt with K series and Mems conversions, i thought i'd start this thread on here with the hope of building up a complete parts/shopping list of whats needed. I've browsed many threads on Lotus/Mini/Metro/MG/Rover sites but never found a comprehensive list of all parts required to run the MEMS2J VVC's on MEMS3.
If this list can be completed, even with some part numbers, this will come in useful for others as well
So far, i'm up to-
-Body loom from any mems 3 Pre-facelift 25/zr (none a/c)
-Engine loom from gti/160
-Ecu from gti/160, decoded unless 5as & fob present, mapped by z&f with 2nd lamba removed.
-gti/160 injector rail
-gti/160 inlet plenum/manifold
-Alternator
-Cam sensor
-Coil Pack
-oil temp sensor(HCU)
What else is needed?
Thanks in advance,
Dave.
