ABS Fault Warning Light and ABS activation at low speed Rover75
Hi,
I have a 2001 Rover 75 Connoisseur Tourer, I started my journey from home when the ABS Fault warning message appeared on my instrument panel and the ABS warning light came on. Strangely after stopping and starting again the light went out for a few minutes but then it came back on again. I also noticed at a low speed the ABS system engaged on for a few seconds and then it went off. Also for about two minutes I had the sensation that my brakes were trying to engage on and off at around 50mph. Apart from that the car is driving okay. I've had no problems up to date with the ABS and the car was MOT and serviced in July.
Is this a garage job or can I possibly try to find the fault and fix this myself? Any suggestions are much appreciated.
