head gasket change round 2 all help advice needed please
where to start
i have done a few k series head gaskets but this is my first vvc all have been fine but this one didnt go well
the car has been off of the road for nearly a year now!
i got a cheap mls gasket of flea bay same as the others i had previously used
but it didnt seal properly found out later on it is probably due to uneven liners as it leaked down the front of the block,i even took extra care and time as it was my first vvc had it lightly skimmed bought a torque wrench that whent down to the setting
so i got a set of bga bolts and payen b750 blue gasket off DMGRS and it arrived this morning so going to start on it today as i only have the weekendand want to get her running and back on the road
what is the tightening setting/sequence on the blue or standard gasket as it cant be the same as the mls?
also does the vvc inlet have a jiggle valve as mine doesnt look like its got one i have a spare inlet of a 143 and thats the same
sorry for the long post but i realy need help dont want to mess it up
thanks Rich
