Advice on Cat.C cars?

Got a question here for you all.Can a category C insurance write off be driven legally before being repaired??



My daughters car has just been written off as a Cat C.The rear bumper was hanging off (now tied up securely) Wheel arch dented and rear door slight damage.The rear tyre was slashed so now has the spacesaver wheel on.The car drives ok with rear lights etc working ok too.



She got the car back from the insurance company.I will now be selling it for spares or repair.Its on my driveway now.If someone buys it can it be driven away? or does it have to be transported?.The tax is still ok.Does it have to have a VIC test BEFORE it can ever be driven on the road again?.I don't want to be held responsible for aiding and abetting someone to drive away in it if it is not legal.
